Your Hosts: Ken & Gwen Mallard

 

When we started our B&B in 2003, we never dreamed that we would enjoy doing it as much as we do. We took care of Gwen's Dad in our home on palliative care and we were back and forth to the hospital next door many times. We met many people in need of accommodations and there is no place to stay close to the hospital. After Dad passed away, we felt we could help and started the B&B. It has been many years and we feel that we have been a home away from home for many, many guests. Many coming for the hospital and many others for events and to visit family and friends in the area.

We have off street parking and offer high speed wireless internet service for guests who bring laptops etc. There is a fridge and microwave located on our second floor sun porch, which looks over the city, for our guests to use. There are dishes and silverware and guests can make a light meal or order in for lunch or dinner.
